The goal is to restore the property to a clean, livable condition, free of health hazards, while attending to the comfort of the hoarder at every stage of the process.

During our initial visit and assessment of the property before we begin clean-up, we will carefully assess safety and health hazards. In the home of a hoarder, it is not uncommon to find moldy food, pet urine and feces, or evidence blood or human excretions, which pose significant health risks. Rats, mice roaches and may also be present. All health dangers need to be handled appropriately by experts with the proper equipment and skills. In cases of extreme hoarding, piles of debris may be piled so high they pose a danger to the resident.
