​Before we initiate any cleanup efforts, we make sure we understand exactly what needs to be done. The Cleanup Plan

Using a team approach with emphasis on client care, our highly-trained staff will approach every aspect of your clutter cleanup or hoarding clean up needs with efficiency, expertise and compassion. After our initial assessment of the property, we will meet with all stakeholders, including the hoarder, family members, and/or mental health professionals, and work as a team to develop a step-by-step customized plan for cleanup of the site. The goal is to restore the property to a clean, livable condition, free of health hazards, while attending to the comfort of the hoarder at every stage of the process. 

Clean-out, Disposal and Cleaning

During our initial visit and assessment of the property before we begin clean-up, we will carefully assess safety and health hazards. In the home of a hoarder, it is not uncommon to find moldy food, pet urine and feces, or evidence blood or human excretions, which pose significant health risks. Rats, mice roaches and may also be present. All health dangers need to be handled appropriately by experts with the proper equipment and skills. In cases of extreme hoarding, piles of debris may be piled so high they pose a danger to the resident. Our staff will also assess the danger of chemical hazards such as old cleaning products, paints, fertilizers and other products, and make a plan for their removal. 

Safety, Health and Security Concerns

Once health and safety hazards have been assessed, our team of experts can begin the hoarder cleanup and waste disposal. Our staff of experts will work systematically to divide items into those that will be kept and those that will be removed from the property as trash or recycling.
